Top-Quality Retail Fulfillment Services In Arizona

Open a national chain’s vendor manual and you will find dozens of pages on how to put a label on a carton. Which corner. How many inches from the edge. Which barcode, which pallet pattern, which delivery window, and what gets deducted when any of it is off, even by a little.

Nobody at your company wants to own that document. We do. Our retail fulfillment services hold your inventory in a permitted, FTZ-approved building in Arizona and ship it exactly the way each manual demands. It’s the work we run every week for brands like REI and Backcountry.

Three Ways Retail Volume Ships From Our Retail Fulfillment Center

Retail stopped being one motion a while ago. Most brands we work with run two or three of these at once.

Shipping to the retailer’s distribution center means pallets and case packs moving on a booked appointment, and it’s the most spec-heavy of the three. Everything has to line up: the routing guide’s carrier and delivery window, compliant carton and pallet labeling, and an advance ship notice that matches what actually left the dock. Get any one of those wrong and it shows up as a deduction rather than a conversation.

Drop-shipping on the retailer’s behalf flips the motion entirely. Instead of pallets, you’re shipping single parcels directly to the end customer, in the retailer’s name and with their packing slip in the box. The compliance burden shifts from carton specs to speed, because these programs are graded per order rather than per shipment, and the retailer’s scorecard doesn’t care that the parcel came from your 3PL rather than their own DC.

Retail ecommerce fulfillment is the same single-parcel motion, but in your name and with your branding, drawing on the same inventory as the other two. Right-sized packaging keeps the presentation and the shipping cost under control, and orders move on a same-day-to-next-day cadence rather than waiting for a batch.

What matters is the layer underneath all three: one pool of inventory, one system, one crew. Our 3PL services and ecommerce fulfillment draw on the same stock, in the same building, so nobody spends their evenings reconciling counts.

The Fulfillment Retail Buyers Actually Grade

Fulfillment in retail is scored, literally. Most chains keep a vendor scorecard, and it decides whether you get shelf space next season or a call about performance.

Fill rate against the PO

One live inventory count sits behind every channel, so a pallet promised to a retail PO and a Tuesday-night web order can’t be committed against the same unit. Counts update as stock moves, not on an overnight sync, which means a buyer’s fill rate isn’t decided by a spreadsheet that was accurate yesterday.

On time to the window

Orders are staged against the must-arrive-by date rather than the ship date, working backward from the carrier and delivery window the routing guide specifies. Appointments are booked ahead of the window, not requested against it.

Carton and pallet compliance

Labeling, placarding, and pallet patterns are built to each account’s spec and applied at the point of pack, so compliance isn’t a separate inspection pass that a rushed week can skip.

ASN accuracy and timing

The advance ship notice reflects what physically left the dock, transmitted against the shipment rather than reconstructed after the fact.

Pick accuracy

Every order is scan-verified at pick and again before the carton is sealed. Discrepancies get caught at the station, not at the retailer’s receiving dock where they become a deduction.

Returns and vendor recalls

Retail returns and recalled stock come back to the same building, get inspected and graded, then route by your rules, back into sellable inventory, into quarantine, or wherever you direct them. Nothing sits in a holding area waiting for a decision nobody logged.

The Strengths That Make Us Hard to Replace

Plenty of warehouses can pick a case. Three things narrow the field quickly.

Duty that waits for the buyer’s ship window.

We were Arizona’s first FTZ-approved 3PL, so imported stock sits here with duty deferred until it leaves for a US destination, or duty free if it leaves the country instead. When a chain stages a program a season ahead, that gap is cash that stays in your business. It is why Black Crows and Gravel run US distribution through our Foreign Trade Zone.

Categories most warehouses are not permitted to hold.

E-bikes, power stations, and solar sit on mainstream shelves now, as that freight is regulated. Our permitted site covers small cells up to crane-scale units, with over an acre of outside lot. Start with lithium-ion battery storage if that is your program.

Peaks set by someone else’s promo calendar.

One endcap can quadruple your week. We spent roughly $750,000 on automation, which absorbs that without staffing up: Packsize cuts a box to the order at about 500 an hour, our Pack Jacket bags, seals, and labels at about 900, and the same line feeds parcels and case packs.

Retail Fulfillment Trends Worth Planning Around

Duty is a planning input now. Where goods land and how they are held moves the landed cost of a whole program.

Chains keep pushing inventory upstream. Drop-ship vendor programs hand you the holding cost and the scorecard, so retail ecommerce fulfillment and wholesale start behaving like one operation.

Specs tighten while windows shrink. Compliance is pass or fail, so a day outside the window is late and a label off spec is non-compliant, whatever the reason.

There Is A Promise Behind Every Purchase Order

Retail runs on someone else’s calendar. A buyer names a ship window, and the operation behind it has to be ready then, not working toward it. Send your SKU list, your accounts, and a month of volume, and get numbers you can hold us to.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about working with SKU Distribution, from onboarding to shipping cutoffs.

Storing your inventory and shipping it to retail accounts on their terms: purchase orders over EDI, compliant cartons and pallets, booked appointments, advance ship notices, and returns. Consumer orders run from the same stock.

Yes, for accounts including REI and Backcountry. We own the transaction mapping, the labeling spec, and the appointment booking, and we follow guide revisions so nobody on your side has to.

Traditional 3PL pricing: receiving, storage, pick and pack, and value-added work such as ticketing or kitting, quoted against your real order profile.

That is how we prefer to run it. One count, one system, and one crew, so a chain’s pallets and a Tuesday night web order pull from the same stock.

Yes. Goods clear into our Foreign Trade Zone with duty deferred, and our lithium-approved facility accepts the battery and oversized freight most retail fulfillment centers cannot legally hold.
